Overview

The Clerks and Sheriffs Trust Account Program was instituted in 1993 as a way to help fund indigent defense. The trust account consists of interest from monies deposited in certain interest-bearing accounts. GPDSC is authorized to keep 10% of the collections as an administrative fee.
